A subject that seems to be on every ones mind is the cost of living in California and the nation. There are many factors that fuel the costs. Before the pandemic things were doing quite good. In fact it felt like it was in high gear. After that prices began to rise. Supply and demand after the shortages kicked in, prices went up. Then the cost of transportation went up. Example; an ocean container of tires cost around $3,000 to ship. During the pandemic it went to $10,000 to $ 12,000. Look what it did to the cost of a tire. The next thing is wages. The unions are getting raises. Fast food too. Rent and lease are going up for business. Then comes utilities, taxes and regulations .New laws and environmental issues keep getting thrown at business. So you see how industry, wholesale and retail prices are climbing. We as the general public are caught in the crossfire .Some of those factors can be addressed while others cant change. Good luck American citizens.
