Thanks to Whit Terry Ryan Boatner for jumping on the boat with me for the Texas State Bowfishing Championship. Hunter Blane Patterson was there in spirit as his flight home early Saturday was canceled....you were missed...We had big fish of the tournament with a 57 # Buffalo and finished right about a pound out of the money.....rolling my eyes...lol....between a couple lost buffs and a choke or two...lol...things might have turned more in our favor....it was a blast as always and thanks to Dustin Cole and Phoenix Airboats for putting it on....

So the only thing I do more than bowfish through the spring is mountain archery hunt in the fall....It is truly what has driven me for the last 30 plus years....only since 2012 have I found my love for bowfishing and its ability to bridge my mountain hunting gap and keep a bow in my hands year round....So that is where my topo theme and inspiration came from!!

Finally getting very close on my new airboat....Not in time for the US Open bowfishing tournament but I guess I'll survive till next year on that....hope yall like how she's coming!!
