Best in show for both Crystal River and inverness! Tony's Collision Center now officially holds the record in Citrus County for most Christmas parade awards with 11.

I want to start off by thinking the amazing crew we have here at the shop as well as everybody else that helped make this possible with our Parade floats this year.

A big shout out to the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and their entire staff and volunteers who have tirelessly worked these parades for many many years. Also a big shout out to IHC Technology for the video they did for us, which we will be posting here shortly.

As we prepare for tonight's 2024 Crystal River Christmas Parade we want to take a moment to thank our parade sponsors!!!

To View the Parade:
The Crystal River Christmas Parade will begin SOUTH of the intersection of HWY 44 at NW 3rd Street. The floats will begin their journey entering HWY 19 between Walgreens and Sara’s Diner and exit at Paradise Point, just past Truist Bank. Spectators will be able to utilize BOTH sides of HWY 19 to view the parade floats from a safe distance. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6PM on December 7th.

Traffic Detour Information:
North and South bound traffic on HWY 19 will be detoured between the HWY 44 intersection (across from La Casita Mexican Restaurant) through Martin Luther King Blvd (at the Winn-Dixie Plaza) beginning at 5PM, December 7th. The closure is estimated to last through 9PM, December 7th. Through-traffic can utilize Martin Luther King Blvd.

Additional Road Closures:
You can also expect the following downtown Crystal River roads to be closed to through-traffic from 2PM – 7PM:
- N Citrus Ave
- NE 5th St
- NE 4th St
- NE 3rd St

Lets take a look back at what it took to put this spectacular Christmas Parade float together! Thanks to everyone who helped us out this year! Also a Big Shoutout to the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce for their tireless efforts on these parades!

Absolutely in awe with how well our show went for the Crystal River Christmas Parade! A big shout-out to Alex Streeter (TurboMan, Corey Housman (Dementor), Matthew Lanzilla (Special Effects Coordinator), Mike Eberhardt (Driver), Carey Weeks (Commentary) and Frank DiGiovanni (Color Commentator) for their help and support throughout this process. We work tirelessly throughout the year once the theme is announced, brainstorming, building, performing, all since September 1st. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch tonight. Big shout-out to the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce for their tireless effort in providing this magical event for us every year, from their volunteers, to the coordination with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office . None of this was possible without those two organizations coming together to provide a fun and safe night of enchantment and magic! Be sure to come out and see us next Saturday at the Inverness Christmas Parade, where we set it up and do it all over again!
