With the winter here we are currently looking to fill a part time position for a highway janitor. Nights and weekends job includes tire changes, jumpstarts,lockouts,winch outs, Towing & recovery. Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen have or be able to get a dot card and live in KNOX county. Commission based pay and you get to drive this 2023 international. Experience is a plus but not a must! We can teach the right person as long as your willing to learn and have a little common since when it comes to cars. A clean driving record is required as well as 25 years of age so if you’re willing to work and can do and pass the requirements, come join our family ! Just a few recent calls we’ve done and we would just like to remind everyone that here at Ots we have skilled drivers with over 70 years of combined experience and state of the art equipment. We get the job done quickly and professionally. I would also like to take this time to thank my drivers for their continued service it’s hard to find good employees and Ots has been blessed with some of the best operators! Most have been here since the beginning and some have come along later on down the road as we have grown to the 14 trucks and 11 drivers we have today.

18 hours and over 175 calls that came in on day one of this storm! Unfortunately we weren’t able to help everyone but we surely got the majority of you handled. When we have the road shut down for a recovery DO NOT try to blow by us. We will get out of your way as fast as possible because we don’t enjoy freezing. Twice today a driver came inches from being hit and one person actually called to complain because the driver yelled at him for almost running him over. Walmart was still gonna be there in the 15 minutes it would have taken for my driver to clear that road if he didn’t have to deal with your rudeness & impatience. These drivers risk their lives daily. Show them some respect. Yeah today it may not have been you in that ditch but who knows what tomorrow brings.

Super happy to announce that On The Spot Towing and Recovery will be hosting it's first ever Touch-a-Truck event, sponsored by Young's Drive in.
Bring your kids out to get up close and personal with our state of the art towing and recovery equipment, including a special guest Heavy Duty Wrecker from Mike's Fredericktown Marathon, and multiple law enforcement and emergency service agencies. May include a rollover demonstration and a raffle\giveaway! Please keep in mind that emergency responders may end up having to leave if called, so make sure you stop out just in case. Talk with our operators, sheriff's deputies, state troopers, city police officers, and learn how we all work closely to better serve our community, ask about the services we provide, which include being a AAA service provider for this area, and help keep all of us safe, by learning more about Ohio's slow down\move over law. Young's Drive in will be open with extra hands to better serve everyone with food, drinks, and ice cream!

Sorry we haven’t added any pictures lately. We have been super busy. And as many of you already know we have added more trucks and more drivers. We are also proud to announce that soon we will be opening our 3rd location in the Knox county area! We also now serve the Butler, Bellville, and North liberty areas as Knox county’s Largest Towing Service. We have state of the art equipment to keep you and your vehicle safe in your time of need. I would also like to remind everyone that we can also move many other things as seen in pictures. Including car lifts, floor safes that have fallen out of the back of a uhaul, 🤷‍♂️ those small tractors and side by sides you buy from rural king or Tsc, that paddle boat you were sure would fit in your pickup truck that didnt (just like your wife told you it wouldn't) or that lawn mower you need taken to the repair shop. Even those skids of fire pellets and many other things! Just give us a call! The worst we can do is tell you we can’t help with that. We have even winched freezers and cast iron furnaces out of basements! Almost anything and everything, however we do not move sheds or gazebos

As many of you that’s been around and used our services know this isn’t your everyday company we may not be blood but we are all family. This is Timmy. He has been with us since the beginning and on July 4th he had a massive heart attack and this morning he was called home. We have been short staffed for the past couple weeks and today we will be celebrating Timmy’s life. We appreciate everyones patience and understanding that family comes first and we will be back to full operations soon.

We would like to take this time to thank our customers and companies for putting your trust in us! It’s been a long 3 day weekend. One particular customer chose to sit on the side of the road 80 miles away just to wait for us 🤯 That is loyalty and we greatly appreciate it. 78 others needed our assistance this weekend as well making the 3 day total 81 calls counting the 2 accidents. We would also like to thank the crew for putting in the hours to assist all these stranded motorists.

We have recently added 2 additional drivers and 2 additional trucks to try and serve you faster.
