Caliber recently had the chance to restore the rhythm of yet another life.

The National Auto Body Council (NABC)®, GEICO and Caliber Collision teamed up to donate and refurbish a 2023 Toyota Camry for a deserving recipient as part of the NABC® Recycled Rides® program. Emonnie, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, will now overcome transportation challenges he faced getting to his two jobs, the grocery store and other everyday errands. With the gift of reliable transportation, Emonnie is hopeful to secure a better-paying full time job and regaining his independence.

This Valentine's Day, Caliber had the privilege of celebrating yet another major milestone.

In Suffolk, VA a U.S. Navy Petty Officer received the 600th vehicle gifted by Caliber Collision in partnership with the NABC Recycled Rides® program. This deserving mother was nominated by MVP - Merging Vets & Players and now will be able to overcome everyday tasks that were made difficult without reliable transportation. This timely gift will be providing Petty Officer Cleary with peace of mind, independence and the ability to spend more quality time with her son.

The vehicle, a 2019 Kia Sorento donated by GEICO, was restored by Caliber Collision technicians in Suffolk that volunteered their personal time and skills to help make this milestone gifting possible. Caliber recently had the opportunity to celebrate another special NABC® Recycled Rides vehicle gifting in partnership with the National Auto Body Council®.

We had the honor of presenting a veteran and single father with a vehicle refurbished by dedicated Caliber teammates in Omaha, NE. This vehicle, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, was the very first vehicle gifted in the state of Nebraska in partnership with NABC® Recycled Rides®. Without a car, this veteran faced hurdles juggling work, school, extracurriculars for his 3 boys and frequent medical appointments. For this family, this vehicle means freedom to enjoy life's essentials and cherish quality time together.

On this we are recognizing Terry in Corvallis, OR, who recently won the Best in Tech Award. This award is given to the top 10% of technicians every quarter who excel in performance metrics.

Terry started his collision repair in the mid-70s and is known at his collision center for being a real fixer. With decades of experience, Terry specializes in fixing difficult panels and has spent lots of time restoring hot rods throughout the years. Terry says seeing the faces of customers whose expectations he has exceeded is one of the highlights of being a Caliber teammate. Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Terry.

Our teammates in Killeen, TX had the chance to celebrate a Caliber milestone. Rashard and Emanuel were the 2000th and 2001st Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) graduates. The two young men have gone through the hands-on training program in a live Caliber center with the support of their mentors and are on their way to kicking off rewarding careers as auto body technicians. This award is designed to honor the NABC® member company that supports the vision of the National Auto Body Council through donations of time and resources.

Caliber's active involvement with the NABC® Recycled Rides program and NABC® Board has demonstrated our commitment to driving meaningful change. Since our partnership with NABC® Recycled Rides began in 2012, Caliber has had the opportunity to gift almost 600 vehicles, with 35 of those gifted in 2024 alone. Our efforts were recognized for amplifying NABC's reach, empowering individuals and families in need, and fostering a culture of giving that resonates across the entire industry. We are honored to have received this award and look forward to continuing to drive change in our communities this year, restoring the rhythm of lives along the way.

Recently, our Springfield, IL teammates had the opportunity to truly show our purpose of Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® to a deserving veteran.

After a collision with a deer, a 100% disabled veteran found himself in a difficult situation when the significant damage on his car wasn't going to be covered by his insurance. Caliber in Springfield, IL had the opportunity to repair the vehicle at no cost and give this veteran a new-found sense of security and confidence. Andrew's daily routine is now restored and he can continue pursuing his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in hopes of helping marginalized communities.

Our TAP apprentices are starting the year off strong! We are happy to highlight one of our most recent TAP graduates, Pablo. Joined by leadership and his dedicated mentor, Gregorio, Pablo was celebrated in Costa Mesa complete with his new Snap-On tool bag, certificate of achievement and TAP graduate jacket. Pablo is now on his way to a successful career as a body technician.
