💜 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 Example of DIVERGING traffic at the traffic light due to hazards such as parked car, bicycle lane or roadwork. Because there is no sign to indicate one has to divert from the existing lane/position, GOOD OBSERVATION by looking far and wide are very important to divert early. Since there is no dividing line, most drivers don't know there is a need to divert. However think it this way :- ♤ Before the traffic light, there is two turning lanes. After the traffic light, you are still in the same lane/position. ♤ If you have to MOVE ACROSS TO OTHER POSITION due to hazard, surely you have to let the other driver know your intention even if there is no dividing line. Please ensure you have GOOD OBSERVATION and GOOD SENSE OF POSITIONING to be able to carry out diverging. ( ⚠️In the video, the front vehicle is not showing good example to perform diverging).

Some come with little understanding the logic behind such traffic light manoeuvre. ♤ Objective : To ease traffic congestion, that is to allow more cars to turn at traffic light when there is no ● Oncoming traffic ● Pedestrian crossing at the traffic light. ♤ Points to take note : ● Once your car crosses the stop line at green light and wait in middle intersection, don't panic 🤣. ● If you cannot turn right because there is oncoming cars and pedestrian, wait until the traffic light turns yellow. You can then turn when it is safe to do so. ● Occasionally there are cars trying to beat the yellow or red light, don't panic 🤣, wait in the middle intersection till it is safe to turn. ♤ Don't panic: ● It is legal to drive through the intersection after the light turns red as long as you enter the intersection beforehand on green light. While the car was in the wrong having cut two lanes in one go (signal time so short with no blind spot check), a headcheck by the careless driver could have reduced the impact of the accident.
