In the vein of teaching myself new skills, I’m working on grafting pieces of other parts into existing parts. In this case, I’m trying to recreate the Cervini Mach 1 style hood for Fox Mustangs, using the hood scoops from the AMT ‘71 Mach 1. I’ll try to post the finished product on here when it gets where I want it to be.

Latest build off the bench is the 4th of 5 1966 Shelby GT350H Mustangs, this time in Wimbledon White and Hertz Gold stripes from Scalefinishes.com. Starting with the kit engine, I added wiring from Kris Morgan at .com, and a Holley Carburetor from Fireball Modelworks. I also swapped the manual transmission for an automatic from VCG Resins by Reese, along with the appropriate shifter. Other added details are a photo-etch detail set from Model Car Garage, Inc., and custom license plates from Bestmodelcarparts, and headlight buckets from Kevin Lutz add the final appropriate detail. Hope y’all enjoy.
