TRAA Tow Bit, Limit Your Risk: According to OSHA data, struck-bys account for 66% of tower injuries and deaths. Limit your risk by always wearing appropriate ANSI gear (almost half of those struck weren’t wearing it), using curb-side controls whenever possible (you’re most at risk when loading and securing on the traffic side), keep your eyes on oncoming traffic, and don’t step on or over the fog line.
